Today was a good day

It’s refreshing to just have a genuinely all around good day.  I think what made the day was the fact that it was very productive.  There’s nothing like feeling accomplished.  One thing many people forget on their path to success is to enjoy the ride.  Trust me if you’re focused and determined enough you will definitely get to your destination.  Meanwhile, it’s important to take it all in and enjoy the bumps and curves along the way.  It makes victory that much sweeter!  No one wants to watch a movie that has no sort of conflict or twists for the protagonist to overcome.

Jesus vs. Satan

Hello folks,

Been a lil minute since I’ve written here.  I can’t stay away too long though!  This past Sunday the Deacon at church told a story that resonated in me.  I wanted to share this with as many people as I can.  I was able to find a very similar version online…  Here it is:  The entire story was copied from http://carolynsplace.com/insp/Jesus_vs_Satan.html  if you wanna go check it out there, she has cool pictures and stuff too lol

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation.
Satan went to visit Jesus in the Garden of Eden,
and Satan came all happy and boasting. (Lk 4: 1-12; Job 1: 6-12)

“Yes, Lord, now I have everybody captive,
(well nearly everybody down there).
I set traps, I used the baits of temptation,
I know well what each one of them can’t resist.
I nearly caught them all!” (I Pet 5: 8-9; Eph 6: 10-17)

“What are you going to do with them?” Jesus asked.
and He was praying to God the Father.

Satan answered “Oh, I am going to have some fun with them!”

I’ll make them divorce after they have married
so the foundation of humanity will never be able to be established
“the family” (Mt 19: 4-6; Mal 2: 16)

I will make them hate each other and abuse each other,
make them fall into alcohol and drugs without control. (Rom 13: 12-14)

I will teach them to make weapons and bombs,
so they kill each other

“I am really going to have fun!”

“And when you are tired of playing with them, what will you do?”
Jesus asked. And continued praying

“Oh, I will kill them all and their souls will be mine forever”
“Lord by all respect, it’s their decision” (I Jn 3: 8-10)

“How much do you want for all of them?” Jesus asked.

“Oh, you can’t want these people. They aren’t anything good.
Why do you want them if they neither follow you nor love you?
Many hate you! I have seen many of them spitting on you, cursing you and even denying you.”
“What’s more, they love me a lot” (Mt 24: 10-13)

“You don’t want these people!!”

“How much?” Jesus asked again

Satan looked at him with a nasty face

“All your tears and all your blood,
all the pain of the entire world, all together” (Is 53: 4-10; I Pet 2: 24)

Jesus said…”DONE”

“and He paid the price” (II Cor 5: 21)

How terrible it is that people don’t seek for God,
and then ask themselves why the world is going to hell!

How terrible that we seek the newspaper everyday to read tragedies
and we never seek the Bible

How insensible it is how everybody wants to go to heaven,
thinking they can get there without having to believe,
without loving God above all things,
or doing what the Bible says…the Laws of God.

It is terrible how some people can say “I believe in God”
but still follow Satan (Who as matter of fact, does fear God)
(II Tim 4: 3-4; II Jn 1: 7-11)

Don’t you think it’s pathetic how they send
each other thousands of jokes by email,
so they spread like plagues.

But when it’s about the Lord’s messages,
we think about it twice before we share them;
and we leave the mailboxes of our friends without this message

Don’t you think it is outrageous that the obscene,
vulgar and crude is allowed freely to pass through the internet
that even many people would desire to get into the screen.

But it is forbidden to speak publicly about Jesus
in the schools, places of work
self-helping groups, etc… (Acts 4: 19-20)

Even after knowing what He did for us.
Because the Romans didn’t kill Him. It was our sin.
that we may be forgiven
and know Him in His glory with the Father.

Doesn’t it seem incredible to you how somebody can be alight
on  Sabbath   in the Church,
worshipping and thanking the Lord for His mercy,
for one more day to live etc.

But during the rest of the week he is an invisible Christian!
(II Tim 3: 1-5; Rom 10: 9-13)

Does this seem just to you?

Don’t let Satan stop you sending this Mail
to all your contacts on the Web,
It doesn’t matter if he tells you that many don’t believe this
Don’t let him get through with his plans!

Stop worrying what the others may think about you
It is time to worry about what “God thinks about you”

Please brother and sister, pass it on?

What else can I say?  Society as a whole needs to get back to standing up for GOD and stop worrying about offending one of HIS children.  Spare the rod, spoil the child… remember that?

Pregnant and Uneducated

So apparently getting pregnant as a teen nowadays means bye bye High school.  WOW!  Definitely had to speak on this one.  There’s a school somewhere in Houma I believe that has this as a policy for the girls of the school.  Here’s a link to the article http://www.houmatoday.com/article/20120808/APN/1208080993?Title=La-charter-school-changing-pregnancy-policy

Seems to be an older policy that maybe fell through the cracks until someone decided they were going to sue.  Just goes to show how strict society was back in the gap.  In this case they did go far by kicking the girls out of school altogether, but I can understand the overall purpose.  The problem is she wasn’t a victim of immaculate conception.  The guys in these cases get off “home free”.  I guess someone has to be educated enough to support the child.

The practice of having pregnant girls removed from school tho… Actually I can understand wanting to remove that “image” if you will from the high school setting.  As bad as it sounds I can agree with not wanting kids to think that behavior is ok.  Extreme consequences use to be a deterrent, but nowadays everyone sues for everything so kids go #yolo and don’t care anymore.  They know mommy and daddy (if one) will get them out of it. 

Oh I’m just not open minded you say?  Where’s the freakin line?  Don’t tell me about being open minded,  I’m as open minded as they come.  However, being open minded and drawing the line at whats right are totally separate things.  I can be open minded about something and still not agree.  I’m open minded enough to accept certain things that I disagree with.  If I were closed minded I would not accept those things at all.   Am I closed minded because I believe a human shouldn’t kill another human?  Or am I not being open minded enough?  Gimme a break. 

Society has gotten very lazy.  Part of the problem is the whole “open minded” phenom…  The other is fear.  I think after the whole racism deal equal rights has spun into a different realm.  No longer is Color at the forefront,  now it’s sexuality.  I’m still waiting for someone to explain how we’re comparing sexuality to blacks getting rights to be humans period.  Remember 3/5′s?? 

I’m not going into that tho, just trying to make a point with society.  It’s like no one wants to take a stand anymore for whats right because all it takes is a group to scream equal rights and you guys get confused.  “OMG are we discriminating against these rapists???  They should be able to rape whomever they please.  They were born this way.” 

Anyway,  yea stop kicking pregnant girls out of school.  Girls close your legs and stop letting these idiots knock you up.  Parents do your damn jobs.  Grown lil boys grow up and be men and stop blaming everyone else for your problems.  We get it, Daddy wasn’t there…  So you see that’s a problem, go be there for yours.    Everyone wants to be the victim.  K, i’m done…

Happy Sunday

Hello there,

I really have nothing to write about today, but that’s usually when the masterpieces are created right?  I’m really feeling very lazy and would rather not move from this spot for the entire day.  However, I’ll make myself get up in about 40 min and take my butt to church.  I’m sure I’ll be glad I did.  Maybe I’ll wear that all white fit that I was supposed to wear last night. ( I fell asleep, lol)  It’s funny how you feel so pure and heavenly dressed in all white.  Could be a product of conditioning too… the whole “white is right” thing.

My Heart Hurts!

I am in so much pain! 

It’s becoming very difficult to bear the things that occur in today’s world.  40-50 years ago most things that we accept today wouldn’t have been tolerated.  We’re so desensitized nowadays to the point no one is using their brain or the sense God gave a mule.  The people that still have some sense left are so few and far between and most don’t care to do or say anything.  Well someone has to. 

I actually was enlightened earlier after reading that Disney has decided to ban the advertisement of junk food during their programs.  (lol after years of hidden sexual messages in their movies), but I’m talking about issues that are way beyond food and health.  I mean that’s great don’t get me wrong, but it’s just a diversion. 

We have people sleeping around with each other, spreading diseases, confused about their gender, men with men, women with men, writing all over their bodies… omg the list goes on and on and on.   Oh and this just in,

This is what’s acceptable.  Mocking the murder of an innocent teen. 

What can I say?  The moment you try to correct certain things people get defensive and accuse you of judging them.  I’m not judging you.  Right is Right, Wrong is Wrong.

Honestly, I really can care less anymore.  If you wanna make a complete ninny of yourself go right ahead.  For those that agree I’m here to help. 

Here’s the thing,  God knows we’re not perfect.  Everything has a price though including sins.  So as payment for our sins God sent his only son here who’s blood serves as payment in full.  We have to be aware of what’s going on day to day.  We must repent daily.  It’s not easy to get into heaven and being a part-time Christian isn’t gonna cut it. 

#ConfessionFriday

So I started this webshow a few months ago and released about 7 episodes.  It started as entertainment and the goal was to get a few laughs and get some of that “YouTube” stardom.  LOL…

Then one day I just decided to end the show.  I just didn’t see a clear path and it was becoming very hard to maintain production.  Weeks later I was having one of my “reflection” moments and I just felt the need to do something.  Then it hit me.  Confession Friday is the perfect contribution!  If I can draw the attention to myself and a few other close friends then everyone wouldn’t feel like they were the ones being judged.  We’re confessing about our own lives, meanwhile you’re watching and actually THINKING about how this applies to you. 

I now am awakening up to more and more in just this short time.  Just working on the show has kept God a part of my daily life because he’s the reason I’m working on it now.  If God is at the forefront of what you do then you can’t go wrong.  It’s fool proof!

Modern day Parable – Gift of Free Will

There once was a little boy named Jeremiah.  Jeremiah was new to the neighborhood and didn’t have any friends.  He prayed and prayed that God would give him at least one friend.   One day he was at the park and met a girl named Jessie.  Jeremiah and Jessie became the best of friends.  After awhile Jeremiah began to change and started becoming distant towards Jessie until one day he stopped being friends with her altogether.  Jessie was very hurt by this.  God was very displeased with his actions so he decided to teach Jeremiah a lesson.   There was another girl Jada that had many friends but not really anyone she was very close with.  She too prayed that God would give her a “best friend”.  One day Jeremiah and Jada were at the park and met each other.  They instantly became best friends.  Once again Jeremiah became distant after awhile and eventually stopped being friends with Jada.  However, Jada did not give up.  She stayed after Jeremiah until finally he wanted to be friends with her forever.  Jada then noticed how genuine Jeremiah had become and suddenly didn’t feel that she wanted to have such a close friend anymore.  She then became very distant towards Jeremiah until finally they were not friends anymore.  Jeremiah was very hurt by this.  He then prayed to God and asked how such a thing could have happened to him. God then explained it to him….

“My son, I gave you what you asked for and you were not grateful so I took it away.  I gave Jada what she asked for and with her own free will she gave it back.  You were a gift to Jada and Jada was a lesson to you.  She has done to you what you have done to Jessie. “

After some thought  Jeremiah understood exactly the lesson that God taught him.

We all were given the gift of free will.  God has a plan for each of us, however we are free to choose whether or not we are going to stick to it or not. When you ask God for something first understand fully what you’re asking for and secondly be ready to receive it.  In Jada’s case she got what she asked for, but was not ready for it.  Remember,  “the lord giveth and the lord taketh away”.  We must also understand that God works through us.  He uses each and every one of us to carry out his plan.  In the story, God used Jeremiah to reward Jada.  However, with her own free will she did not accept what God wanted for her.  This then became a lesson for Jeremiah.  God works in mysterious ways!  Just trust in Him and you can’t go wrong.
