Today was a good day
It’s refreshing to just have a genuinely all around good day. I think what made the day was the fact that it was very productive. There’s nothing like feeling accomplished. One thing many people forget on their path to success is to enjoy the ride. Trust me if you’re focused and determined enough you will definitely get to your destination. Meanwhile, it’s important to take it all in and enjoy the bumps and curves along the way. It makes victory that much sweeter! No one wants to watch a movie that has no sort of conflict or twists for the protagonist to overcome.

Perseverance – Nightmares of a DJ
There I was sitting in total silence. I seemed to be on pause as the world continued to move around me. Think…. Think…. I’ve tried everything, but I can’t seem to restore power. Besides, I’ve spotted the problem. The wire is broken and I have no backups. Better yet I have no way of obtaining one.
You see this was my first parade performing as a DJ. I had everything all tested out and working perfectly. This was going to be a breeze. Until that very moment when Rhianna stopped her song earlier than expected. I had no time to panic. Panicking never solves anything anyway. After failing to rectify the situation all I could do was sit back and accept the harsh reality. Kind of sucks though. I was just beginning to gain some confidence in my profession and this has to happen. May as well face it, I’ll be laughed at for the entire route and known as the DJ with no sound! Never mind me, what about those poor students? This is there first parade as well. What a way to start things off. Well let me begin my apology speech and there goes my paycheck!
“Alright DJ let’s get some music… Come on man where the music at???” The heckling has begun. I looked to the crowds, which were in total uproar, then back to the students. No way! I’m not gonna be the one to give up. Think, think…. I know, call my roommate! The backup wire is right there on the table where I shouldn’t have left it. Great at worst we’ll have to suffer until Lee Circle. Hmm, there’s a store down the street. Maybe I can hurry to the store and they’ll have a replacement wire.
Before I could finish that thought I arrived to the store. Just my luck they had exactly what I needed! Now I’m back to the scene with a feeling that I’ve saved the day. I quickly replace the broken wire with the new one and attempt to get the music started again. Waiting, waiting, still waiting… OMG! Why is this not working. Something else has to be wrong. What else could it be? I clearly have power, WAIT! Do I have power?
My my the sun was shining bright that day. You see when the sun shines on a light display it can appear to be lit even when its not. So why don’t I have power because the generator is clearly running? What do you know, the surge protector had come unplugged somehow. This was the problem all along.
Within seconds I’ve plugged in and ready to go! Whew… how could I have missed such a simple fix? Luckily the parade was starting and stopping so we had only moved about 3 blocks without music.
What seemed like a total disaster was solved without any huge damage at all. Moral of the story? Don’t panic, stay calm and check your plugs!
So Jordan’s son wants more attention eh…
Oh give me a break!
Allow me to call this exactly what it is, a publicity stunt! I mean come on, 16 year old kid in this society driven by social media. What better way to get more YouTube views? I bet he just went from 25 to 2500000000000! If this was really about a father being more in his life then why the lawsuit? Newsflash, the millions of dollars will not give Mike some type of epiphany to make him come around more.
How about a simple phone call?
Now to Taj’s credit maybe this is a last resort thing. Maybe he’s reached out to his alleged father and received no response. If that’s the case then do you, but these things haven’t been mentioned. All I’m getting here is follow me on my twitter and instagram, which Taj was sure to mention at the end of his Youtube video.
I have an old photo of my mom and Jordan (not really)… hmm, maybe I can get all the new sneakers before they’re released at least!
Oh this just in! Taj Jordan is actually Grant Pierce Jay Jordan Reynolds… I mean how many names does this kid have?? Really?
Well at least he got that boost on the social media sites. These days any publicity is good publicity! He’s all set!
Jesus vs. Satan

Been a lil minute since I’ve written here. I can’t stay away too long though! This past Sunday the Deacon at church told a story that resonated in me. I wanted to share this with as many people as I can. One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation.
Satan went to visit Jesus in the Garden of Eden,
and Satan came all happy and boasting. (Lk 4: 1-12; Job 1: 6-12)
“Yes, Lord, now I have everybody captive,
(well nearly everybody down there).
I set traps, I used the baits of temptation,
I know well what each one of them can’t resist.
I nearly caught them all!” (I Pet 5: 8-9; Eph 6: 10-17)
“What are you going to do with them?” Jesus asked.
and He was praying to God the Father.
Satan answered “Oh, I am going to have some fun with them!”
I’ll make them divorce after they have married
so the foundation of humanity will never be able to be established
“the family” (Mt 19: 4-6; Mal 2: 16)
I will make them hate each other and abuse each other,
make them fall into alcohol and drugs without control. (Rom 13: 12-14)
I will teach them to make weapons and bombs,
so they kill each other
“I am really going to have fun!”
“And when you are tired of playing with them, what will you do?”

“Oh, I will kill them all and their souls will be mine forever”
“Lord by all respect, it’s their decision” (I Jn 3: 8-10)
“How much do you want for all of them?” Jesus asked.
“Oh, you can’t want these people. They aren’t anything good.
Why do you want them if they neither follow you nor love you?
Many hate you! I have seen many of them spitting on you, cursing you and even denying you.”
“What’s more, they love me a lot” (Mt 24: 10-13)
“You don’t want these people!!”
“How much?” Jesus asked again
Satan looked at him with a nasty face
“All your tears and all your blood,
all the pain of the entire world, all together” (Is 53: 4-10; I Pet 2: 24)
Jesus said…”DONE”
“and He paid the price” (II Cor 5: 21)
How terrible it is that people don’t seek for God,
and then ask themselves why the world is going to hell!
How terrible that we seek the newspaper everyday to read tragedies
and we never seek the Bible
How insensible it is how everybody wants to go to heaven,
thinking they can get there without having to believe,
without loving God above all things,
or doing what the Bible says…the Laws of God.
It is terrible how some people can say “I believe in God”
but still follow Satan (Who as matter of fact, does fear God)
(II Tim 4: 3-4; II Jn 1: 7-11)
Don’t you think it’s pathetic how they send
each other thousands of jokes by email,
so they spread like plagues.
But when it’s about the Lord’s messages,
we think about it twice before we share them;
and we leave the mailboxes of our friends without this message
Don’t you think it is outrageous that the obscene,
vulgar and crude is allowed freely to pass through the internet
that even many people would desire to get into the screen.
But it is forbidden to speak publicly about Jesus
in the schools, places of work
self-helping groups, etc… (Acts 4: 19-20)
Even after knowing what He did for us.
Because the Romans didn’t kill Him. It was our sin.
that we may be forgiven
and know Him in His glory with the Father.
Doesn’t it seem incredible to you how somebody can be alight
on Sabbath in the Church,
worshipping and thanking the Lord for His mercy,
for one more day to live etc.
But during the rest of the week he is an invisible Christian!
(II Tim 3: 1-5; Rom 10: 9-13)
Does this seem just to you?
Don’t let Satan stop you sending this Mail

What else can I say? Society as a whole needs to get back to standing up for GOD and stop worrying about offending one of HIS children. Spare the rod, spoil the child… remember that?

“The Damn Meeting” 12.2.12 Recap
Today was the first official airing of “The Damn Meeting” It was a great show and we had a pretty good turn out considering I announced it just about 24 hours before it aired. Thanks again for everyone that tuned in! If you missed it, don’t worry we’ll be back next week.
Here’s a recap:
Promptness… Let’s change this stigma that we as a people are always late.. or the infamous “CP” Time… If the start time is 8pm, shoot for 7:30 instead.
Dating: Basically I came to the conclusion that the ladies need to have a separate meeting to discuss the standards they want and get on the same page. We are confused, some like it hot, some like it cold, some like it in a pot 9 days old! Also the question was asked, Would you date someone that had a sex change? Also if a guy dated a “girl” that once was a man does that make him gay? The answer was Yes. End of discussion, lol
There were many other random items talked about, but hey ya had to be there!
